Dr. Turk joined the Jules Veterinary Center team as an associate veterinarian in July 2021 after graduating with her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Michigan State University in May 2021. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Biology from University of Michigan, Dearborn. Dr. Turk was born in Ohio and raised in Canton, Michigan. Her family is from Turkey and her passion for animals grew every summer when she helped the stray cats and dogs in her parent’s hometown. She also has volunteered at various animal rescues throughout the years, and 5 years ago she fell in love with a kitten who she named Ella. Dr. Turk enjoys spending her free time relaxing with Ella and her husband, Hasan. She also enjoys drawing, writing poetry, watching horror movies, and traveling. Dr. Turk is looking forward to continuing her life-long journey of learning and improving the quality of life of pets and the people who love them.
