Dr. Carolina Montoya joined the Jules Veterinary Center team in 2023 as an associate veterinarian after a recent relocation to California. Dr. Montoya received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from St. George’s University, where she graduated with honors and was inducted into the Phi Zeta honor society. She went on to complete her clinical year at Cornell University in Ithaca, NY. She has several years of experience in general practice and preventative medicine. Her special interests include dermatology cases and expanding her knowledge of surgical procedures. Dr. Montoya is originally from the east coast and grew up in NYC, but is very excited to start a new adventure on the west coast. Beyond the clinic, she spends her time with her significant other and three felines that have moved with her everywhere since her veterinary school days. Dr. Montoya is dedicated to providing outstanding pet healthcare and making sure pet parents understand what is happening with their pets every step of the way
